The History of A-United Automatic Doors & Glass
A-United Automatic Doors & Glass is a family-owned commercial door company in Omaha consisting of 3 generations of glaziers and automatic door professionals. The company was founded by Jim and T.J. Hannum in 1997 as A-United Glass and Construction.
After 7 years, T.J. and Jim established a niche in the automatic door industry. Stanley Access Technologies Inc. of Farmington, CT, recognized A-United’s expertise and consistent customer satisfaction.
In recognition of this accomplishment, Stanley Access Technologies awarded A-United Glass and Construction a distributorship to supply, install, service, and repair Stanley Doors. To reflect this business niche and expertise, T.J. and Jim decided to change their name to A-United Automatic Doors & Glass, Inc. in 2004. Since then we have continued to expand to service all makes and models of automatic doors.
