In 2024, we donated over $22,000 to help families in their battle with cancer. Every year, we aim to go bigger and better with the help of our sponsors and community.
According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that over 11,000 people in Nebraska and nearly 20,000 people in Iowa will be diagnosed with a form of cancer in 2022. That is almost 31,000 of our family, friends, and coworkers who will be fighting for their lives this year.
This year’s A-United Golf Classic will be raising donations and building awareness for “Scare Away Cancer,” a local 501(c)(3) organization that is run solely by volunteers. With this money, Scare Away Cancer will be able to offer financial assistance to families battling cancer to help pay for bills, food, lodging, and more!
With help from players, sponsors, and donors, this year we are trying to reach a new donation goal of $38,000 for Scare Away Cancer.
At this level, your business will be prominently displayed before, during, and after the event. Your vinyl banner will be displayed at the entrance of the country club. You may also display signage at the registration desks and practice green. Your company logo will be featured on the website, printed literature (which goes out with every A-United invoice), emails, social media, and our event banner. There will also be recognition of your sponsorship on every golf cart. Also includes 2 golf foursomes.
